Wow...

That. Was. Amazing.

JET came out, and played a few songs I didn't know, but then they played Are You Gonna Be My Girl and She's a Genius, then a few more songs I didn't know and then one I did know but can't remember the name :) then they left the stage, and there was a half an hour interval while the roadies set up for Green Day...so we're all waiting...waiting...waiting...then it goes pitch black. Everyone screams together as the first song on 21st Century Breakdown, "Song of the Century" blared throughout the Entertainment Center. We saw the general outline of three people walk onstage, and we were off. Belting out "21st Century Breakdown" my voice was already shot, but I didn't care, first concert ever and Green Day did NOT disappoint. Here's the full set list.

Green Day!!

Okay, so it's 11:49am, on Tuesday 8th of December 2009. And in approximately 7 hours, I will be leaving from Tweed Heads, to the Brisbane Entertainment Center to see Green Day, with the support band JET. So stoked.

Just me.

Hi, I'm Matthew Renwood. I'm 16 years old, living on the border of New South Wales and Queensland, in a little town called Tweed Heads.
I play guitar, that's my hobby. I also hope to, one day, make a career out of it. I also have another hobby which isn't to everyone's taste, but it's the result of major influence. In my spare time, I like to make Jackass-esque movies with friends. At the moment I'm planning a three-piece stunt series called Devils Delinquents. I want to be in the entertainment career one day, and at the moment I'm open to anything. Actor, bring it on, Musician, I'm there, Stuntman...why not. I recently discovered a life choice that really fits what I stand for. Straight Edge. Yes, people laugh at me, but in the long run I'll laugh at them.
I'm Matt Renwood.
Sexless.
Drugless.
Fearless.
